Those who love chocolate would have tried Max Brenner and Lindt in Sydney. On a recent trip to Canberra, I found another known as Koko Black.
I was eagerly anticipating after hearing rave reviews about it while walking towards the store.

The store was full of chocoholics even on a weekday and I had to queue for a table. While queueing, my eyes were filled with wonderful sights.

Fancy some chocolate bars? Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate...
You can even buy a kit that you can bring home and make your own hot chocolate with Koko Black's chocolate of course!

After pondering over the menu for what seems like decades, we ordered the 'Belgian Spoil' and 2 iced chocolates.
The iced chocolate was smooth and creamy. It just slides down your throat and the richness of the chocolate is the best that I have tried yet.
The 'Belgian Spoil' consists of (left to right) : chocolate cake, shortbread, 2 Belgian chocolates, chocolate mousse and chocolate ice cream.
The cake was light and yet rich at the same time in texture. The chocolate mousse was fantastic, it was fluffy yet very decadent and fulfilling. In fact, the entire platter of chocolate goodies was excellent.

As if it wasn't enough chocolate, J ordered a hot chocolate after! The richness and quality of the chocolate definitely is definitely suits my taste and I prefer Koko Black over Lindt and Max Brenner. Can't wait to be back.

my sister tried it too in canberra and loves it! is it very different from max brenner? i thought MB was pretty awesome when i had it in sydney =)
