Always wondered how different food taste in terms of freshness and flavour when you go to the Sydney Fish Market and say a seafood restaurant.
After some conversation and wine, we were ready to order.Entree - Crab Ravioli with wilted spinach and pernod cream
This was really good, the crab was extremely fresh, I now believe when they say the chefs from good restaurants go to the seafood markets to nearly every morning to get the best catch! It went really well with the Pernod cream and spinach. Quite refreshing, the ravioli was quite delicate and the cream wasn't too heavy! Just right for an entree.
Mains - Grilled Fillet Steak & King Prawn
The crumble was crunchy but the pastry itself was just slightly too thick. That could partly be due to the apple and blackberry filling inside having made the pastry a little soggy but it's still pretty good.
My friend and I made an agreement to order one dessert each and split half/half so that we can try both! The chocolate pudding was crispy on the outside and gooey inside when you break into it. Mixing the hot chocolate with the ice cream was just divine!

I managed to get a chance to try out Nick's seafood at Darling Harbour for lunch. It was a sunny day, perfect weather to be sitting at their outdoor patio.
