One of the members in the party was craving something sweet or some dessert after one of our lunches and we suggested getting the egg tarts from KFC. This is quite a unique option that I have only seen it being offered in the KFC in Hong Kong and China.
I first tried it in Hong Kong and it left a delectably delightful impression.
The dessert requestor was quite sceptical but went along and we bought a boxful of portugese egg tarts.
While the rest of us were happily savouring and eating ours, the dessert requestor has wolfed down three in one go. The pastry was light and baked with just a little bit of burn to give it that smokiness. The egg filling itself…yum!
